Ella 被失智阿嬷遗忘 「我记得她就好」

【吴礼强╱台北报导】Ella跃上大银幕的首部剧情片明年才要开拍，但她露面参与的纪录片《被遗忘的时光》，将於月底上映，她在片中和观众分享对失智奶奶的不舍：「我知道她已经不记得我，但我记得她就好。」令人闻之鼻酸。

正在纽约游学的Ella，今年对她来说，是生命变化相当大的1年，除了情同姊妹的S.H.E搭档Selina，拍爆破戏灼伤仍在住院中，《被》片於4月拍摄，当时她和爷爷、奶奶一起入镜，没想到3个月后，爷爷在7月因急性白血病并发败血症过世。

在片中，Ella从台北搭高铁回屏东老家看奶奶，她老人家因为上厕所来不及，不慎方便在裤子内，手里拿著新裤子要更换，却忘了身上脏裤子还没脱。Ella一度生气、质疑为什麼不帮奶奶请看护？后来她想通，因为再怎样细心的看护，都没有亲情的照料伟大。

祖孙3人跨刀纪录片 只露脸3分钟

《被》片是金马导演杨力州继《奇迹的夏天》、《征服北极》后的新作，虽然Ella和爷爷、奶奶的故事，只在最后出现3分多钟，但她希望透过这样的分享，能让更多人关心失智老人的问题，未尝不是好事。

Translation:

Forgotten by Her Grandmother with Dementia, Ella says, "It is sufficient so long as I remember her dearly."

Ella's debut movie on the big screen will only commence filming next year.  However she has already participated in a documentary [The Long Goodbye], which will be screened in cinema at the end of November.  In the documentary, Ella will share with audiences her affections for her grandmother who was diagnosed with dementia, "She will definitely forget me eventually...  But it does not matter for it is sufficient so long as I will remember her dearly."  Hearing this statement inevitably causes one to feel heartache.

Currently in New York for her short study tour, this year appeared to have posed much changes to Ella's life.  Her close friend cum S.H.E groupmate, Selina, has recently been warded in hospital due to severe burn injuries while filming.  While filming for this documentary on families coping with dementia member in their homes in April this year, Ella's grandparents and her appeared on camera;  but never did one expect Ella's grandfather would pass away due to his illness just 3 months later in July.

In the documentary, Ella was seen returning to her hometown in Pingtung to visit her grandmother.  Once, Ella's grandmother soiled her pants as she could not make it in time to the toilet.  Despite with a clean pair of pants in her hands, yet, she had forgotten to remove the soiled pants she was wearing still.  There was a time when Ella felt upset and queried why her family had not hired a domestic nurse for her grandmother.  But after she thought things through, she felt that nothing can surpass the thoughtfulness and love one's own family could give for her grandmother.

Grandparents & Ella Appeared On-screen for the Documentary for Three Minutes

[The Long Goodbye] is the latest production of Golden Horse Award Director Yang Li-Zhou, following his earlier works (literal translation) - [Summer Miracles] and [Beyond The Artic].  Although the story shared by Ella and her grandparents appeared only for 3 minutes in the documentary, Ella hopes through the sharing of her account, there will be greater awareness, tolerance and understanding amongst the public towards dementia patients.
